The Digital Operations Manager is expected to grow regional transactions and improve remittance-app market penetration, including in Oman.
The role focuses on operational reengineering, customer onboarding, and improving the customer journey.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, IT, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in digital operations, fintech, or remittance/payments, ideally with app-based products; 10+ years of overall experience is described as ideal.
- Strong commercial acumen, including partner or product identification and negotiation and structuring of commercial agreements.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with MIS, dashboards, and data-driven decision-making.
- Working knowledge of incident escalation and UAT/testing processes, plus a basic understanding of payment rails.
- Product and Tech coordination experience; Agile/Scrum exposure is an advantage.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills across regulatory, vendor, partner, and internal teams.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, 24/7 operational environment with on-call availability for critical incidents.
Relevant knowledge
- The candidate must understand how a remittance app works.
- The role requires understanding how to improve penetration in a slow-moving market such as Oman.
Responsibilities
- Increase regional transactions through a sales or presales approach.
- Identify process and operations reengineering opportunities to enhance the product.
- Improve onboarding for new customers and the customer journey.
- Coordinate with Oman country operations, Lulu Money product, growth marketing, IT, and customer support teams.
