  • Experience applying digital controls and algorithms to power electronics systems and designing closed-loop control systems.
  • Strong understanding of analog and digital control theory, digital filter design, MATLAB/Simulink, and C/C++.
  • Knowledge of three-phase electrical power systems and ability to work safely around high voltage in a laboratory environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A master's degree or PhD in electrical engineering.
  • Experience with power electronic hardware or power systems and new product development organizations.
  • Familiarity with lithium-ion and lead-acid battery systems.
  • Experience with OPAL-RT or similar hardware-in-the-loop real-time simulators.
  • Design experience with UPS or other power electronic products.

Position Criteria

  • The position calls for a self-managed, proactive, team-oriented, detail-focused professional who can meet schedule requirements.
  • The role requires familiarity with oscilloscopes, power analyzers, meters, and common tools used in a 480V high-power laboratory.
