The role supports engineering and project teams with technical, engineering, and construction drawings.
The posting describes the position as a CAD Draftsman in the Engineering and Projects department for work in Dubai, UAE.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and modify 2D technical and engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop construction and project drawings from engineering requirements.
- Interpret drawings, sketches, specifications, and technical instructions.
- Incorporate engineer-directed design changes and revisions.
- Check dimensions, scale, alignment, detailing, and overall drawing accuracy.
- Coordinate with engineers, project teams, and site teams.
- Maintain drawing revisions, records, and document control.
- Complete and submit drawings on time.
Candidate Requirements
- At least two years of relevant CAD Draftsman experience is required.
- Strong AutoCAD knowledge is mandatory.
- A diploma or degree in Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- Construction, contracting, or engineering project experience is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of technical and engineering drawings is required.
- Attention to detail, drawing accuracy, communication, coordination, and project/site-based working ability are required.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 2,000 to AED 2,500 per month.
Workplace
- Work location is in person in Dubai, UAE.
