Role overview

Platform and delivery responsibilities

• Build cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code and create secure environments across development, test, staging, and production.
• Manage containerized workloads, Kubernetes deployments, application deployment patterns, secrets, configuration, and enterprise connectivity.
• Build CI/CD pipelines; standardize build, test, security scanning, and deployment; automate provisioning and reduce configuration drift.
• Establish observability, service-level indicators, dashboards, incident response, production support, and root-cause analysis.
• Implement least-privilege access, secure deployment patterns, auditability, and delivery-pipeline security checks.
• Support business continuity and disaster recovery; define and test backup, restore, and recovery procedures.

Required experience

• 6+ years in DevOps, SRE, platform engineering, or cloud infrastructure.
• Production experience with Azure, AWS, or GCP; Azure is strongly preferred.
• Docker, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code, and CI/CD experience.
• Strong Linux and networking fundamentals, observability, and distributed-system troubleshooting.
• Experience with secure secrets, identity and access management, and production incident management.
• Scripting or programming capability in Python, Go, Bash, or an equivalent.

Tools and advantageous experience

• Infrastructure as Code tools may include Terraform, Bicep, Pulumi, or equivalent; CI/CD tools may include Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar.
• Strong advantage: Azure Kubernetes Service; Azure Service Bus, API Management, Key Vault, or related services; enterprise integration platforms; SAP-connected environments; AI/LLM deployments; regulated or government environments; high availability and disaster recovery.
