Experienced Deputy Project Manager / Services Manager supporting execution of a major EPC project in Qatar’s LNG sector.
Project location is Doha, with the project site at Ras Laffan.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate project activities among the client, project team, and local suppliers.
- Monitor progress, schedules, and site KPIs; prepare regular progress reports.
- Coordinate material deliveries, customs clearance, inspections, and site logistics.
- Monitor repairs and support installation, commissioning, and outage preparation.
- Attend technical meetings; identify contractual deviations, schedule risks, and potential change orders.
- Act as the main local client contact and ensure effective project communication.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
- At least 7 years of project management experience; EPC contractor, OEM, or oil and gas experience is preferred.
- Good knowledge of gas turbines, steam turbines, and compressor technologies.
- Strong understanding of contracts, claims, project schedules, and risk management.
- Excellent English communication, reporting, and presentation skills.
- Strong leadership, coordination, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Current residence in Qatar is preferred.
Contract and pay
- The contract is 12 months and renewable.
- Pay is QAR 10,000–10,500 per month.
