Position Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate **Demi Chef de Partie – Pastry** to join our dynamic culinary team.
The ideal candidate will assist in preparing high-quality pastries and desserts, support the Pastry Chef in daily operations, and ensure consistent standards aligned with Hilton and Royal Rose Hotel’s brand expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, bake, and present pastries, desserts, and bakery items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and production across all pastry items.
- Assist in developing creative new pastry and dessert concepts.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients and finished products.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the pastry kitchen in compliance with HACCP standards.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with weekly requisitions.
- Support the Chef de Partie and Pastry Chef in daily operations and special events.
- Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained in good working condition.
- Collaborate effectively with the kitchen team to meet service deadlines.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in pastry or bakery, preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
- Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or Pastry preferred.
- Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, dough handling, cakes, desserts, and chocolate work.
- Creativity, attention to detail, and passion for pastry arts.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP).
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
