Position Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate **Demi Chef de Partie – Pastry** to join our dynamic culinary team.

The ideal candidate will assist in preparing high-quality pastries and desserts, support the Pastry Chef in daily operations, and ensure consistent standards aligned with Hilton and Royal Rose Hotel’s brand expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, bake, and present pastries, desserts, and bakery items according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Maintain consistency in taste, presentation, and production across all pastry items.
  • Assist in developing creative new pastry and dessert concepts.
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients and finished products.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the pastry kitchen in compliance with HACCP standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with weekly requisitions.
  • Support the Chef de Partie and Pastry Chef in daily operations and special events.
  • Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained in good working condition.
  • Collaborate effectively with the kitchen team to meet service deadlines.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in pastry or bakery, preferably in a 4- or 5-star hotel.
  • Diploma or certification in Culinary Arts or Pastry preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, dough handling, cakes, desserts, and chocolate work.
  • Creativity, attention to detail, and passion for pastry arts.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards (HACCP).
  • Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
