- Assist the Chef de Partie in managing a designated kitchen section
- Prepare mise en place according to recipes and service requirements
- Support the preparation, cooking, and plating of dishes to brand standards
- Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control
- Assist in the smooth running of service within your section
- Ensure timely preparation and delivery of dishes during service periods
- Follow instructions from senior chefs accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your workstation at all times
- Adhere strictly to recipes, presentation guidelines, and portion standards
- Ensure all dishes meet luxury quality expectations
- Maintain awareness of allergens and dietary requirements
- Report any quality issues to senior kitchen staff immediately
Requirements
- Previous experience as Commis Chef or Demi Chef de Partie in a hotel or high end restaurant preferred
- Basic knowledge of culinary techniques and kitchen operations
- Understanding of food hygiene and HACCP standards
- Culinary training or certification is an advantage
- Passion for cooking and culinary development
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
