Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the Chef de Partie in the daily production of bakery and pastry items.
  • Prepare breads, pastries, cakes, desserts, and other baked goods according to company recipes and quality standards.
  • Ensure consistency in product quality, taste, and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory control.
  • Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Support the team in meeting daily production targets and deadlines.
  • Follow all company policies, food safety regulations, and HACCP procedures.
  • Assist in training and guiding junior staff when required.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts, Baking, or Pastry is preferred.
  • Minimum **2 years of experience** as a Demi Chef de Partie, Commis I, or similar role in a bakery, pastry kitchen, hotel, or food manufacturing facility.
  • Good knowledge of bakery and pastry production techniques.
  • Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet production schedules.
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts when required.
