Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Chef de Partie in the daily production of bakery and pastry items.
- Prepare breads, pastries, cakes, desserts, and other baked goods according to company recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure consistency in product quality, taste, and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area in accordance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Monitor stock levels and assist in inventory control.
- Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently.
- Support the team in meeting daily production targets and deadlines.
- Follow all company policies, food safety regulations, and HACCP procedures.
- Assist in training and guiding junior staff when required.
Qualifications
- Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts, Baking, or Pastry is preferred.
- Minimum **2 years of experience** as a Demi Chef de Partie, Commis I, or similar role in a bakery, pastry kitchen, hotel, or food manufacturing facility.
- Good knowledge of bakery and pastry production techniques.
- Familiarity with food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP).
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet production schedules.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts when required.
