Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server
• Create and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and views
• Design and implement relational database schemas, data models, and indexing strategies
• Analyze and improve database performance through query tuning and execution plan optimization
• Develop and support ETL processes, data migration, and data integration activities
• Collaborate with application development teams to design efficient database solutions
• Ensure data integrity, consistency, and adherence to database standards
• Troubleshoot and resolve database-related application issues and performance bottlenecks
• Support reporting and analytics requirements through database development
• Participate in database architecture reviews and recommend improvements
• Create and maintain technical documentation related to database design and development

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 4+ years of hands-on experience in Database Engineering/Database Development
• Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (2016/2019/2022)
• Extensive experience with SQL programming, T-SQL development, and query optimization
• Strong understanding of RDBMS concepts, normalization, indexing, constraints, and database design principles.

• Strong knowledge of execution plans, indexing strategies, and performance tuning techniques.
