1into2 Digital Business Solutions is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Database Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise database environments that support critical business operations and digital solutions.
This role is ideal for professionals who enjoy working with data infrastructure, ensuring database reliability, and supporting high-performance business systems.
The successful candidate will play a key role in database administration, performance optimization, data security, and business continuity initiatives.

What You'll Do
- Administer, monitor, and maintain enterprise database systems
- Perform database installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance activities
- Monitor database performance and implement optimization strategies
- Manage database security, user permissions, and access controls
- Troubleshoot database issues and ensure timely resolution of technical problems
- Perform backup, recovery, and disaster recovery procedures
- Support database migration, integration, and enhancement projects
- Develop and maintain database documentation and operational procedures
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to support application requirements
- Monitor database health, storage utilization, and performance metrics
- Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and operational standards
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to database operations and infrastructure management
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in database administration, database support, systems administration, or IT infrastructure roles
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or similar database platforms
- Experience with database backup, recovery, monitoring, and performance tuning
- Understanding of database security principles and access management
- Knowledge of SQL scripting, queries, and database troubleshooting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Experience with cloud database platforms and virtualization technologies is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Database Management, or a related field preferred
