Job Description: Database Administrator (DBA)
Vivacious Hospitality is looking for a skilled **Database Administrator (DBA)** to join our team in Doha, Qatar.
This role is essential for managing and optimizing our database environments to support our operations efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high levels of availability and security.
- Implement backup and recovery strategies to protect data integrity.
- Develop and optimize database queries, procedures, and functions for improved data access and application performance.
- Collaborate with development teams to design database schemas that meet operational needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems and data modeling concepts.
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with performance tuning techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Additional Information
- **Salary**: QAR 30 - QAR 70 per hour, based on experience.
- **Location**: 88 Luxe Avenue, Doha, Qatar.
