Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Data Scientist role based in Jeddah.
The Data Scientist will collect, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data to support Quality Engineering and Digital Assurance initiatives for enterprise clients.
Day-to-day responsibilities include building statistical and machine learning models, performing exploratory data analysis, and creating dashboards and visualizations to communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
The role involves collaborating closely with engineering, testing, and product teams to define data requirements, design experiments, and optimize processes and systems.
The Data Scientist will also contribute to developing reusable analytics frameworks, documenting methodologies, and presenting recommendations that improve quality, performance, and reliability of digital solutions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in Data Science and Data Analytics, including model development, feature engineering, and exploratory analysis.
- Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Statistics and Data Analysis for hypothesis testing, experimentation, and performance measurement.
- Candidates should possess capabilities in Data Visualization to build clear, insightful dashboards and reports for diverse stakeholders.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with relevant tools and languages (e.g., Python or R, SQL, pandas, NumPy, visualization libraries such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly, or BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau).
- Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field are beneficial.
- Experience working with large datasets, cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), and version control (e.g., Git) is an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex findings clearly to cross-functional teams are essential.
