Role: Data Migration Lead – Oracle Fusion ERP
Sector: Public Sector / Government Transformation Programme
We are seeking an experienced
Data Migration Lead – Oracle Fusion ERP
to join a large-scale Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP implementation programme for a leading Abu Dhabi public-sector organisation.
This is a senior leadership role responsible for driving the complete data migration lifecycle — from strategy and architecture through extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, migration execution, and post-go-live reconciliation.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end Oracle Fusion data migration strategy, roadmap, and execution plan
- Lead migration activities across Oracle Fusion domains including Finance, HCM, SCM, Procurement, and PPM
- Define migration architecture, tools, frameworks, and cutover approach
- Manage data profiling, cleansing, governance, validation, and reconciliation activities
- Oversee ETL processes, mock migration cycles, production cutover, and migration readiness
- Collaborate with functional leads, technical teams, business stakeholders, and programme leadership
- Lead migration reporting, risk management, and stakeholder communication
Required Experience
- 10–15 years of IT/Data/ERP experience
- Strong hands-on Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP data migration experience
- Proven delivery experience on large-scale ERP transformation programmes
- Experience managing full migration lifecycle from strategy to go-live
- Public sector / government / regulated industry experience preferred
Technical Expertise
- Oracle Fusion Migration Tools: HDL, FBDI, ADFDI, HCM Data Loader
- Oracle Fusion modules: Finance, HCM, SCM, Procurement, PPM
- SQL / PL-SQL and data transformation scripting
- ETL/ELT tools such as ODI, Informatica, Talend, or similar
- Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) exposure preferred
- Strong understanding of data governance, MDM, and migration controls
Preferred Certifications
- Oracle Cloud certifications relevant to migration domains (e.g. Oracle Fusion Financials or HCM Certified Implementation Specialist).
- DAMA-DMBOK, CDMP, or equivalent data management certification.
- TOGAF or equivalent enterprise/solution architecture qualification.
- Prince2, PMP, or Agile/SAFe delivery experience on ERP programmes.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, or a related discipline.
