Data Entry Operator
About This Role
A Data Entry Operator is responsible for inputting, updating, and maintaining accurate information in company computer systems or databases. They convert physical documents or raw data into digital formats, ensuring accuracy, organizing records, and verifying data for errors. Key skills include fast/accurate typing, attention to detail, and proficiency with MS Office. [1, 2, 3, 4]Core Responsibilities & Duties
- Data Input: Entering customer, account, or administrative data from source documents (invoices, forms, records) into systems within time limits.
- Verification: Reviewing data for deficiencies, errors, or inconsistencies to ensure accuracy and data integrity.
- Maintenance: Updating existing data, filing documents, and maintaining organized digital databases.
- Reporting: Compiling and preparing reports, spreadsheets, and data backups as requested.
- Confidentiality: Following data security protocols and handling sensitive company or client information securely. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6]
Key Requirements & Skills
- Fast & Accurate Typing: Strong touch-typing skills (high WPM) with extreme attention to detail.
- Software Proficiency: Familiarity with MS Office (Word, Excel) or data management software.
- Experience: Proven experience as a data entry clerk or in a similar administrative role.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent. [1, 2, 3]

- Good command of English (both written and verbal).
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills.
Pay: AED1,700.00 - AED1,800.00 per month
