Experienced Data Engineer to develop reliable data platforms supporting enterprise analytics, AI, and reporting.
The role focuses on scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, data integration frameworks, and cloud-based data solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines.
- Build cloud-based data integration and transformation solutions.
- Develop data models, data warehouses, and real-time data processing solutions.
- Implement data quality, validation, security, and performance optimisation practices.
- Support AI/ML and analytics workloads with Data Scientists and business teams.
- Implement CI/CD and MLOps for automated and reliable data deployments.
Key skills
- Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, PySpark, Python, SQL, and Delta Lake.
- Kafka or real-time data processing; ETL/ELT, data modelling, and data warehousing.
- Data quality, performance optimisation, CI/CD, MLOps, and cloud data engineering.
Experience and education
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or a related field.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field.
