Data Center Mechanical Engineer

Perform HVAC fault finding, troubleshooting, maintenance, service, and repair activities.

Support the operation and maintenance of chilled water cooling systems, chillers, AHUs, fans, coils, and condensing units.

Analyze cooling system performance and identify design or operational issues.

Prepare technical reports, maintenance findings, and recommendations.

Perform mechanical calculations, including heating and cooling load calculations.

Advise and guide technicians or junior staff on HVAC fault rectification and technical solutions.

Support cooling and energy optimization initiatives within the data center environment.

Maintain the chilled water cooling system efficiently and ensure reliable system performance.

Attend and conduct client meetings to understand job requirements, project updates, enhancement works, and owner expectations.

Support project review meetings, FM activities, testing and commissioning, and enhancement works as required.

Technical Requirements Strong technical knowledge of HVAC fault finding, maintenance, service, and repairs.

Experience in the service, maintenance, and repair of chiller machines and general air conditioning systems.

Good knowledge of chilled water cooling systems.

Operation knowledge of HVAC equipment, including air handling units, fans, coils, and condensing units.

Ability to analyze cooling system design issues.

Ability to perform mechanical calculations and develop technical requirements.

Proficiency in writing technical reports.

Good knowledge of cooling and energy optimization.

Ability to guide junior staff and technicians on technical matters.
