Overview
We are looking for a
Senior Data Center Cooling Engineer
- to join our UAE data center operations team.
- This is a senior technical role for an experienced cooling specialist who can lead thermal management across mission-critical data center environments, including air cooling and liquid cooling infrastructure.
- The role will focus on:
- Leading cooling-related incident investigations and root-cause analysis
- Managing chilled water plants, CRAH/CRAC units, in-row cooling, CDUs, rear-door heat exchangers, direct-to-chip liquid cooling, and immersion cooling systems
- Supporting performance optimization across PUE, WUE, airflow management, and cooling capacity utilization
- Reviewing MOPs, cooling design changes, commissioning tests, and failure-mode simulations
- Working closely with OEMs, FM contractors, vendors, and hyperscale/enterprise tenants
- Ideal candidates will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in mission-critical environments
- At least 5 years of large-scale data center experience
- Hands-on experience with direct-to-chip liquid cooling deployments
- Strong knowledge of ASHRAE TC 9.9, Uptime Institute standards, TIA-942, and EN 50600
- Experience with BMS/DCIM platforms and cooling incident RCA
