Role overview
Provide technical expertise and leadership in designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems and solutions for data centers.
Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality electrical solutions and resolve complex technical challenges.
Engineering and project delivery
- Design and develop LV, MV, UPS, energy storage, and other applicable data center electrical systems.
- Conduct engineering analyses and recommend electrical system and process improvements.
- Support early vendor approvals for programmatic buys and provide ad hoc technical design support to customers.
- Collaborate with Design & Bid, engineering, operations, and business teams on electrical projects.
- Define project scope and provide technical support for information requests before and during construction.
- Work on concurrent projects.
Compliance and industry engagement
- Work with local authorities having jurisdiction to ensure compliance with IEC, EU requirements, and building codes.
- Monitor industry trends and technologies, drive innovation, and continuously improve design and implementation processes.
- Represent Eaton as an industry solutions expert and build relationships with clients, consultants, partners, and industry peers.
- Support marketing campaigns and activities that promote Eaton and client relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or electronics engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in data center systems design engineering.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities; customer-oriented mindset and strong technical advisory approach.
Skills and standards
- Familiarity and experience with NFPA 70 and UL design standards is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in English; Arabic is a plus.
