Permanent, full-time Data Architect opportunity with a leading diversified business group in Dubai.
Lead enterprise-wide data architecture, master data management, and data governance initiatives during a large-scale digital transformation.
The role is based on-site in Dubai, UAE.
Key work and technical areas
- Develop data strategy, conceptual/logical/physical data models, and canonical data models.
- Lead MDM frameworks, SAP MDG, golden records, data quality, and governance initiatives.
- Support SAP and Salesforce data architecture, ERP/CRM transformation, migration, and integration.
- Work with Azure Synapse, Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake, and Power BI cloud data platforms.
- Address ETL/ELT, APIs, MuleSoft, CDC, data pipelines, and orchestration.
- Support governance, data lineage, cataloguing, and privacy compliance using Microsoft Purview and Collibra.
What the employer is looking for
- At least 10 years of data experience, including at least 4 years as a Data Architect.
- Experience leading enterprise data architecture or data migration for large ERP/CRM implementations.
- Strong expertise in MDM, data modeling, data governance, and cloud data platforms.
- Experience working with enterprise architecture and integration teams and business stakeholders.
- Experience in automotive, retail, real estate, manufacturing, healthcare, or diversified business groups is advantageous.
Preferred certifications
- DAMA CDMP, TOGAF, Azure, or AWS Data certifications are preferred.
