Role overview

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, gather requirements, and translate business challenges into analytical solutions.
• Own the design, development, deployment, and ongoing enhancement of scalable reporting and BI solutions tied to business outcomes.
• Develop dashboards, scorecards, and governed self-service analytics using platforms such as Looker or Tableau, considering performance, usability, and adoption.
• Use advanced SQL to explore, validate, and analyze large datasets from enterprise sources; partner with Data Engineering on reusable transformations and modeled assets.
• Lead discovery workshops to define business questions, users, success metrics, data needs, scope, and acceptance criteria.
• Communicate analytical findings clearly to technical and non-technical audiences using data storytelling.
• Identify business-performance improvements through trend analysis, root-cause analysis, and process optimization.
• Use AI-enabled and emerging analytics tools to automate workflows, accelerate insights, and improve development efficiency.
• Monitor analytics, process-mining, and AI trends for innovation and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, reporting, or related analytical roles; preferred.
• Advanced SQL development experience, including complex queries, performance optimization, and enterprise reporting support.
• Extensive dashboard and visual-analytics experience using Looker, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of dashboard design, user experience, advanced filtering, drill-down, self-service analytics, dimensional modelling, data warehousing, and analytical data structures.
• Experience with cloud analytical platforms such as BigQuery, Databricks, Snowflake, or comparable technologies.
• Strong stakeholder communication, presentation, facilitation, problem-solving, and requirements-leadership skills.
• Experience in Agile delivery and cross-functional teams; ability to balance technical constraints with business priorities.
• Experience with AI-assisted development and prompt engineering to improve productivity and delivery.

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with Looker and Google Cloud Platform is preferred.
• Experience with SAP data structures and enterprise business processes is preferred.
• Experience with Celonis or similar process-mining platforms is preferred.
• Knowledge of machine learning, generative AI, agentic AI, and emerging analytics technologies is preferred.
• Healthcare, pharmaceutical, distribution, supply-chain, or commercial analytics experience is preferred.
• Experience mentoring analysts or leading analytical workstreams is preferred.

Compensation

• The anticipated pay range is $81,300–$119,130; the posting does not specify the compensation period.
