Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage robust network security solutions, including firewall configuration and intrusion detection/prevention systems, to protect against evolving threats.
• Conduct comprehensive penetration testing and vulnerability assessments to identify and remediate security weaknesses across various systems and applications.
• Perform in-depth malware analysis to understand attack vectors and develop effective countermeasures.
• Develop and execute incident response plans to effectively mitigate security breaches and minimize impact.
• Utilize security tools such as Nmap and Metasploit for network scanning, reconnaissance, and exploitation testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into development and operational processes, fostering a secure by design approach.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop strategic plans for vulnerability management and remediation.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in cybersecurity roles.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or Information Technology.
• Proven expertise in Network Security, Penetration Testing, Firewall Configuration, and Malware Analysis.
• Demonstrated proficiency with security tools such as Nmap and Metasploit.
• Strong programming skills in Python and Java.
• Solid understanding of Risk Assessment, Vulnerability Management, and Incident Response principles.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+.
• Experience with cloud security principles and practices.
• Familiarity with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
• Experience working in the Middle Eastern region.
