Role overview

Customer and inspection management

• Serve as the main customer contact and manage project and technical communication during FAT.
• Coordinate customer inspections, including PIM, FAT, and packing inspection.
• Answer or route customer requests and questions; travel to kickoff and progress meetings as project needs require.
• Ensure systems are ready for FAT, perform client FATs on behalf of outstation project managers, and ensure FAT planning starts on time.
• Minimize non-conformance costs, close punch items, and release systems after pending items are closed.
• Attend third-party supplier FATs, meetings, and audits when required.

Project execution and coordination

• Coordinate international project-team and stakeholder communication and establish relationships within the factory.
• Coordinate sales handover, customer and internal kickoff meetings, project planning, and milestones with planning, operations, engineering, and customer service teams.
• Lead project status reviews, monitor document submissions and project status, identify discrepancies early, and initiate corrective actions.
• Review project closure, capture commercial outcomes, lessons learned, and best practices, and hand over the project to Customer Service.

Finance and risk management

• Manage projects within defined budgets and cost and margin responsibilities.
• Initiate invoicing based on project progress, follow up payment status, review initial project calculations, and clarify discrepancies.
• Participate in monthly project control reviews and review final project performance to optimize profitability.
• Identify and monitor project risks and opportunities, assess contracts for claim implications, and coordinate with Legal on advice.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and inform customers, management, and project teams about scope deviations.
