Cost Control Supervisor in the Finance division at The Lana, Dorchester Collection Dubai.
The posting identifies the contract as permanent and the status as full time.
What you'll do
- Lead the inventory control support team and track chinaware, glassware, silverware, food, beverages, tobacco, and consumables.
- Record and reconcile monthly purchases and operating equipment issues, keeping appropriate records.
- Support internal inventory management controls.
- Prepare accurate cost and statistical reports for senior management daily, weekly, and monthly.
- Identify and correct irregularities in stock recording, storage, and handling.
- Support the Assistant Director of Finance with ad hoc projects and duties.
What you'll bring
- Strong accounting, analytical, and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and a customer service ethic; comfortable communicating in English.
- At least three years of similar experience in luxury hotels in the Middle East.
- Able to operate under pressure, multitask, and make sound decisions in a dynamic environment.
- Flexible and improvement-minded, with the ability to resolve issues and turn ideas into results.
