Responsibilities
- Monitor and control MEP project costs, budgets, and expenditures.
- Prepare cost reports, forecasts, and budget variance analyses.
- Review MEP BOQs, tender documents, subcontractor quotations, and variations.
- Track actual costs against approved budgets and identify potential cost overruns.
- Evaluate variation orders, change requests, and claims.
- Coordinate with project managers, quantity surveyors, procurement, and site teams.
- Monitor material costs, subcontractor payments, and project cash flow.
- Prepare monthly cost reports and recommend cost optimization measures.
- Ensure effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in MEP cost control for residential high-rise tower projects.
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems, BOQs, cost estimation, budgeting, and variation management.
- Experience reviewing subcontractor claims, invoices, and payment applications.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and relevant cost-control tools.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and coordination skills.
- Five years of high-rise building experience is preferred.
Pay
- Pay is AED 10,000–15,000 per month.
