Role overview

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise full stack applications using Java and Angular.
• Develop scalable backend services and microservices with Spring Boot and related frameworks.
• Create responsive, interactive web applications and reusable, maintainable components.
• Design RESTful APIs and integrate applications and services.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and product owners on business requirements.
• Apply object-oriented programming principles and industry-standard design patterns.
• Build database-driven applications; write SQL and support database integration.
• Use Cursor AI for code generation, productivity, debugging, optimization, and documentation.
• Review code, uphold standards, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Work with source control; support CI/CD and deployment automation.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, maintain technical artifacts, and recommend technology improvements.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3–6 years of full stack development experience using Java technologies.
• Strong Core Java, object-oriented programming, software design, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
• Hands-on Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and Spring Security experience.
• Experience building microservices-based applications and developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Strong Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3 knowledge.
• Strong SQL skills and relational database experience, including integration, query optimization, and data modeling.
• Hands-on Cursor AI use for development tasks; experience with Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, or another version control system.
• Familiarity with Maven, Gradle, or modern build automation tools.
• Understanding of CI/CD, DevOps practices, Agile Scrum, and software development lifecycle processes.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.

Technical skills

• Core Java, OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, and Spring Security.
• Microservices, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, RESTful APIs, SQL, and relational databases.
