Cook II position in Food and Beverage & Culinary at a Dubai hotel location.

Food preparation and kitchen duties
- Portion, cut, wash, peel, measure, and mix ingredients for cooking.
- Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards, and preparation checklists; prepare cold foods.
- Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers; test food for doneness and monitor quality.
- Organize food work areas, plate food in appropriate containers and portions, and verify appliance and food temperatures.
- Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, tables, utensils, knives, and equipment.
- Follow company and safety policies, report maintenance needs and unsafe conditions, and complete safety training and certifications.
- Maintain professional appearance, protect confidential information and company property, communicate clearly, and support team goals.
- Perform other reasonable duties requested by a supervisor.
Preferred qualifications and physical requirements
- At least one year of related work experience.
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred; supervisory experience and licenses or certifications are not required.
- The role involves standing, sitting, and walking for extended periods and bending, twisting, pulling, stooping, and reaching.
- Must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
