Duties
- Prepare fresh ingredients and cook them according to recipes or menus.
- Cook food and prepare high-quality dishes within specified timeframes.
- Test dishes to check readiness and temperature.
- Use kitchen equipment safely and responsibly.
- Maintain hygiene and cleanliness of surfaces and food-storage containers.
Qualifications and working conditions
- Excellent teamwork and attention to detail are sought, along with a positive mindset and outgoing personality.
- Previous kitchen experience is an advantage.
- The role requires lifting and moving items up to 25 lb (11 kg) and standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods.
- Maintain a neat professional appearance in a clean uniform.
- Complete training and obtain a food safety certificate before starting.
- Recommended qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of related experience; no supervisory experience or prior certification is listed.
