Role overview
Supports the full lifecycle of Retail and Hospitality contracts, from drafting and negotiation through administration and execution.
Works with internal stakeholders to support legal compliance, risk management, and operational and commercial objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Manage contracts in line with approved templates, laws, commercial objectives, policies, and procedures.
- Draft, review, negotiate, and improve agreements and contractual processes.
- Coordinate internal approvals and documentation for timely, valid execution; manage approvals and renewals.
- Identify legal or contractual gaps and breaches, research applicable legislation, and highlight risks.
- Support commercial renegotiations and advise on delegation of authority.
- Build supplier relationships and monitor contractual delivery and performance.
- Liaise with Legal, purchasing, finance, insurance, data protection, and other teams to resolve contract concerns.
- Perform other department duties as directed by the Head of Department.
Qualifications and experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; the description lists law, procurement, or a relevant field as degree areas.
- Minimum four years of job-related experience.
- Relevant contractual or legal experience and experience handling contracts or supplier management.
- Supply-chain and procurement experience.
- Commercial or operational experience within retail and hospitality; retail operational experience is also listed.
- Excellent command of English; good communication, analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Knowledge of contract documents and excellent negotiation skills.
