Hiring a Contract Manager (Post Contracts) for a client based in Dubai.
The role focuses on post-contract administration and commercial management under contractual requirements and company policies.
The position is a contract role initially lasting 12 months and is renewable.
Key responsibilities
- Manage post-contract administration and commercial management activities.
- Prepare budgetary cost advice, accurate estimates, order-of-magnitude estimates, cost plans, value engineering assessments, and cost analyses.
- Issue enquiries to suppliers and subcontractors, prepare bid summaries, and support procurement.
- Advise on contractual and commercial matters to safeguard the organisation's interests.
- Manage tendering, contractor evaluations, contract awards, and procurement.
- Review bills of quantities, valuations, variations, claims, notices, and payment recommendations.
- Monitor project costs throughout design and delivery.
- Coordinate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and other disciplines.
- Prepare management reports and maintain commercial and contractual governance.
Knowledge, skills and experience
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or Civil Engineering.
- At least 12 years of experience with developers or project management consultancies in the GCC region.
- At least four years of experience at managerial level.
- Strong knowledge of contract administration, commercial management, and claims administration.
- Experience across residential, infrastructure, and building projects.
- Commercial awareness, negotiation, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.

- Preference is given to candidates available immediately or within 30 days of accepting the offer.
