One of our clients is hiring an experienced and highly skilled
Consultant Thoracic Surgeon
to join a leading healthcare organization in the UAE.
The ideal candidate will have extensive expertise in diagnosing and surgically treating diseases affecting the lungs, esophagus, mediastinum, chest wall, and other thoracic structures, while delivering exceptional patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, evaluate, and manage patients with thoracic diseases requiring surgical intervention.
- Perform complex thoracic surgical procedures, including minimally invasive and open surgeries.
- Treat conditions affecting the lungs, pleura, esophagus, mediastinum, diaphragm, and chest wall.
- Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide post-operative care and monitor patient recovery to achieve optimal clinical outcomes.
- Collaborate with pulmonologists, oncologists, anesthesiasts, intensivists, radiologists, and other multidisciplinary teams.
- Interpret diagnostic investigations, including CT scans, MRI, bronchoscopy findings, pulmonary function tests, and pathology reports.
- Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and clinical case discussions.
