Duties & Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage paediatric endocrine disorders including diabetes, growth disorders, thyroid diseases, adrenal disorders, and hormonal imbalances
• Develop individualized treatment and long-term management plans
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and follow-up evaluations
• Collaborate with paediatricians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, disease management, and preventive care
• Maintain accurate and timely medical records and reports
• Participate in clinical audits, departmental meetings, and quality improvement initiatives
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, healthcare regulations, and international standards
• Support medical education, mentorship, and continuous professional development activities
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care while maintaining the highest professional standards

Qualifications

• MBBS or MBChB or equivalent qualification from an accredited institution
• Completion of specialty qualification as per the “Recognized Specialty Certificate” table

Tier 1

• Two (2) years of experience after obtaining main specialty qualification
• One (1) year of experience after obtaining sub-specialty qualification

Tier 2

• Five (5) years of experience after obtaining main specialty qualification
• Four (4) years of experience after obtaining sub-specialty qualification
