Tyche HR Consultancy is currently sourcing on behalf of a prestigious Government Healthcare Client in Abu Dhabi for an experienced and highly qualified **Consultant Physician – Sports Medicine**.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide consultant-level Sports Medicine services in accordance with international best practices.
- Assess, diagnose, and manage sports-related injuries and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment and rehabilitation plans for patients and athletes.
- Perform non-surgical interventions and procedures as clinically indicated.
- Collaborate with physiotherapists, orthopedic specialists, rehabilitation teams, and other healthcare professionals.
- Advise patients on injury prevention, fitness, exercise programs, and performance enhancement strategies.
- Monitor patient recovery and oversee safe return-to-sport and return-to-activity programs.
- Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and clinical meetings.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation.
- Support quality improvement initiatives and clinical governance activities.
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff when required.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, healthcare regulations, and professional standards.
Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent).
- Completion of recognized Residency Training.
- Fellowship, Board Certification, or equivalent Consultant-level qualification in Sports Medicine recognized by UAE healthcare authorities.
- Current Consultant-level experience in Sports Medicine.
- Extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of sports-related injuries and musculoskeletal disorders.
- Eligibility for licensure in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
- Strong clinical, leadership, and communication skills.
- Commitment to evidence-based medicine and patient-centered care.
