Exciting Opportunity \| Pediatrics – Gastroenterology Consultant \| Abu Dhabi, UAE

We are currently seeking a highly qualified **Pediatrics – Gastroenterology Consultant** for a prestigious **government healthcare facility in Abu Dhabi**.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced specialists looking to advance their careers within a leading healthcare institution in the UAE.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum **7+ years of post-specialty experience** in Pediatric Gastroenterology
  • **Leadership experience** is highly preferred
  • **American Board Certification is mandatory / highly preferred**
  • Strong clinical expertise in diagnosing and managing complex pediatric gastrointestinal disorders
  • Proven experience in pediatric endoscopic procedures and advanced GI interventions
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and multidisciplinary collaboration skills

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Diagnose, treat, and manage a wide range of pediatric gastrointestinal, liver, and nutritional disorders
  • Perform and interpret specialized procedures such as upper and lower GI endoscopy
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and ensure evidence-based patient care
  • Lead and supervise junior physicians, fellows, and multidisciplinary care teams
  • Participate in complex case discussions and contribute to clinical decision-making
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, international standards, and patient safety protocols
  • Support quality improvement initiatives, audits, and clinical governance programs
  • Provide education and guidance to patients’ families regarding treatment plans and long-term care
  • Contribute to training, mentoring, and professional development of medical staff
