Key Skills

• Expertise in **Child & Adolescent Psychiatry**
• Strong experience in managing **ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Depression, and Behavioral Disorders**
• Proficiency in **Psychiatric Assessment, Diagnosis, and Treatment Planning**
• Experience in **Family Therapy, Psychotherapy, and Behavioral Interventions**
• Strong understanding of **Neurodevelopmental and Learning Disorders**
• **Fluency in Arabic (mandatory)** with excellent communication skills
• Ability to work within multidisciplinary mental health teams

Duties And Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of **child and adolescent psychiatric conditions**
• Develop individualized **treatment plans**, including therapy and medication management
• Provide **family counseling and psychoeducation** to support long-term patient care
• Manage complex cases involving **developmental, behavioral, and emotional disorders**
• Collaborate with **Psychologists, Pediatricians, Neurologists, and Social Workers**
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up care for outpatient and inpatient cases
• Participate in **clinical audits, case discussions, and quality improvement programs**
• Support awareness programs and mental health initiatives within the community

Qualifications

• **MBBS or equivalent Medical Degree**
• **Specialization in Psychiatry**
• **Fellowship / Board Certification / CCT in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry**
• Proven **Consultant-level experience in Child Psychiatry**
• **DOH License / Eligibility** or equivalent UAE licensing is an advantage
• **Arabic speaker (mandatory requirement)**
• Experience in **tertiary care or specialized mental health centers** is preferred
