Consultant Physician – Pain Management
On behalf of our **government healthcare client** in **Al Ain, UAE**, we are currently looking for a highly skilled and experienced **Consultant Physician – Pain Management** to join a leading multidisciplinary healthcare team.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a specialist with expertise in **acute pain**, **chronic pain syndromes**, and **interventional pain management** to provide advanced patient-centered care in a progressive and high-standard clinical environment.
Key Skills
- Strong expertise in **Pain Management Medicine** and **Interventional Pain Procedures**
- Advanced knowledge in managing **Chronic Pain**, **Cancer Pain**, **Neuropathic Pain**, and **Musculoskeletal Pain Disorders**
- Experience in **Nerve Blocks**, **Epidural Injections**, **Radiofrequency Ablation**, and other minimally invasive pain interventions
- Strong understanding of **Multimodal Pain Therapy** and **Opioid Management**
- Ability to assess complex pain conditions and create individualized treatment plans
- Excellent collaboration with multidisciplinary teams including surgery, oncology, and rehabilitation
Duties And Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with **acute and chronic pain conditions**
- Develop comprehensive and personalized **pain management treatment plans**
- Perform advanced **interventional pain procedures** and minimally invasive therapies
- Manage pain associated with **cancer, post-surgical recovery, neurological disorders, and musculoskeletal conditions**
- Work closely with **Orthopaedic Surgeons, Neurologists, Oncologists, Anaesthesiologists, and Rehabilitation Specialists**
- Monitor treatment outcomes and adjust management strategies for optimal patient relief
- Educate patients and families regarding pain control options and long-term care plans
- Participate in **clinical audits, quality improvement programs, and research activities**
- Ensure compliance with **clinical governance, patient safety, and hospital standards**
Qualifications
- **MBBS or equivalent Medical Degree**
- **Specialization in Pain Management, Anaesthesiology, or related field**
- **Fellowship / Board Certification / CCT in Pain Management or Interventional Pain Medicine**
- Proven **Consultant-level experience in Pain Management**
- **DOH License / Eligibility** or equivalent UAE licensing is an advantage
- Experience in **tertiary care, pain clinics, or multidisciplinary healthcare facilities**
