Job Description

Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects in Abu Dhabi.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality and safety standards while managing site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the construction lifecycle from mobilization to handover; maintain plans, schedules, resource allocations, and contractual milestones.
  • Manage daily construction and site operations; monitor progress, productivity, and quality, and implement corrective actions for identified risks.
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for clients, consultants, and contractors; coordinate engineering, procurement, QA/QC, and HSE teams.
  • Report progress and key issues to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and Abu Dhabi building codes; collaborate on quality, audits, inspections, and authority approvals.
  • Enforce HSE policies and regulations, promote safety, and ensure risk assessments and method statements are followed.
  • Monitor costs and budget controls, review subcontractor performance, certify works for payment, and support contractual and commercial matters.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Master’s degree or PMP certification is a plus.
  • 15–20 years of progressive construction project execution experience, including at least five years in a managerial role overseeing large-scale projects.
  • Proven record of delivering projects in the UAE.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, site management, and project planning.
  • Experience with UAE construction regulations and local authority requirements.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills; able to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
