Construction Engineer for CHO Projects MEP in the Project Management function.

Job responsibilities
- Track contractor manpower and resource availability and allocation by activity across designated complex units.
- Optimize resource use to avoid execution delays and meet unit priorities.
- Review project standards, specifications, drawings, and 3D models; check for clashes with other disciplines.
- Prepare rolling quarterly electrical-material look-aheads with monthly requirements, including bulk items.
- Coordinate with Unit Construction Managers and other disciplines to develop sequential work fronts.
- Prepare 90-day look-ahead and monthly and weekly micro-plans with project control engineers and contractors.
- Coordinate Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Piping, Central-Electrical, EPC-Electrical, and O&M groups to support safe, timely execution.
Education and experience
- Necessary: Degree in Electrical Engineering with 6–8 years of experience, or Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 14–16 years of experience.
Skills and competencies
- Knowledge of electrical distribution, statutory requirements, codes and standards, IS/IEC, IE Rules, equipment and material costs, and hazardous-area classification.
- Knowledge of protection coordination; power, earthing, and lighting layouts; motor starting schemes; DG and UPS schemes; and cable sizing and selection.
- Knowledge of electrical safety, site testing and commissioning methods, power sources, and generating systems.
- Knowledge of MCT blocks, I/O interfaces, safety interlocks for compressors and large pumps, F&G interlocks, and symbols used in electrical SLDs and layout drawings.
