Compliance Officer

Role Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance, AML, risk-management, and corporate-governance frameworks.
• Draft compliance manuals, AML manuals, policies, procedures, client reports, and regulatory submissions.
• Deliver compliance, corporate-governance, risk, and AML training, including regulatory onboarding support.
• Monitor laws, regulations, rulebooks, and regulatory expectations and provide updates to colleagues and clients.
• Represent clients with business partners, regulators, and authorities across DIFC, ADGM, and QFC.
• Manage client relationships, time records, billing-related matters, and service delivery.
• Support regulatory consulting projects and regulated-service engagements involving DFSA, FSRA, and QFCRA.

Key Requirements

• Have strong knowledge of financial-services regulation, compliance obligations, and AML/CFT requirements.
• Have practical involvement in compliance, MLRO, AML, or risk-management functions.
• Maintain professional judgement and regulatory independence while working with clients and senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrate consulting and stakeholder-management skills.
• Manage competing client and regulatory deadlines with strong attention to detail.
• Have three to five years of relevant regulatory, compliance, or AML experience.
• Demonstrate strong relationship management, client service, and communication skills.
• Previous DFSA or FSRA registration as a Compliance Officer or MLRO is preferred.
