The Commissioning Machinery Supervisor will execute pre-commissioning and commissioning activities for plant machinery and packages.
The role supports the Hail and Ghasha project in Al Ruwais, UAE.
Work schedule
- The rotation is 60 days on site and 10 days off, with two paid travel days.
Compensation

Duties and responsibilities
- Develop pre-commissioning procedures and functional test procedures for machinery and packages.
- Conduct field checks, prepare commissioning punch lists, and expedite closure of pending items.
- Ensure compliance with field safety rules and project quality, health, environmental, and safety requirements.
- Supervise vendors' specialists and manage assigned subcontractor field operations.
- Support vendor specialists and coordinate their work with commissioning supervisors.
- Maintain activity records, produce certificates, and submit them to QA/QC certification engineering.
- Oversee planned and corrective maintenance on operating plant units.
- Receive or issue Permits to Work as authorized under the project procedure.
Qualifications and experience
- Hold a relevant university degree or diploma, or an equivalent qualification.
- Have at least 10–12 years of work experience.
- Have significant machinery commissioning experience, particularly with rotating equipment.
- Have significant experience in a similar role on EPC oil and gas projects or in a refinery.
Skills and abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail and management ability.
- Demonstrated leadership, self-motivation, teamwork, problem solving, and focus on timely results.
