Schedule

• The rotation is 60 days on site and 10 days off, with two paid travel days.
• The position is a contract role.

Role Summary

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop detailed pre-commissioning procedures for machinery and packages, including functional tests.
• Conduct DAC field checks and prepare commissioning punch lists.
• Expedite closure of pending punch list items according to commissioning priorities.
• Ensure compliance with field safety rules.
• Supervise vendors’ specialists and ensure their efficient utilization.
• Manage assigned subcontractor field operations and emergency plant-safety procedures.
• Support vendors’ specialists and coordinate their actions with commissioning supervisors.
• Maintain activity records in the logbook.
• Produce signed certificates for the QA/QC certification engineer.
• Oversee planned and corrective maintenance on operating plant units.
• Receive or issue permits to work as an authorized person under the project procedure.

Knowledge and Qualifications

• A university degree or diploma in a relevant discipline, or equivalent, is required.
• At least 10–12 years of work experience is required.
• Significant machinery commissioning experience, specifically with rotating equipment, is required.
• Significant experience in a similar role on EPC oil and gas projects or in a refinery is required.
• Experience with rotating equipment is required.
