Role and project

Contract and rotation

• Contractual, single-status role; start as soon as possible. The listed start date is 01/11/2026.
• Rotation is 60 days on site, 10 days off, and 2 paid travel days; 10 hours per day including a one-hour break.
• Job location is Al Ruwais, Abu Dhabi, UAE.

Commissioning duties

• Develop pre-commissioning procedures for electrical items and packages and functional-test procedures; field-check DAC and prepare commissioning punch lists.
• Manage assigned subcontractor field activities, schedule adherence, safety procedures, progress records, and recovery actions.
• Supervise substation power-on and motor-run activities, apply tag-out/lockout, support and coordinate vendor specialists, and check MCC actions during interlock, logic, and sequence tests.
• Operate starters under approved work permits; arrange client witnessing, sign certificates, and hand them to the certification engineer.
• May be designated to receive or issue permits; follow the project Permit to Work Procedure and expedite pending punch-list items.

Qualifications and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• At least 8 years of safety-related experience; construction or oil and gas experience is preferred.
• Relevant experience in 3 major EPC projects in oil and gas or petrochemicals.
• Communication, interpersonal, attention-to-detail, management, and team-oriented skills; self-motivation and a focus on timely performance and problem resolution.
