Buyer role supporting purchasing activities in line with the Purchasing Coordinator's and Head of Purchasing Department's guidance.

Responsibilities
- Manage procurement activities for assigned materials and services.
- Issue RFQs, obtain quotations, and conduct commercial evaluations to deadlines.
- Prepare bid tabulations, commercial bid evaluations, and purchase recommendations.
- Negotiate commercial and contractual terms to achieve cost savings and required delivery dates.
- Issue and follow up purchase orders until acceptance.
- Coordinate with engineering, expediting, inspection, logistics, and accounts teams.
- Maintain procurement records and comply with company procedures.
- Support vendor development and supplier performance monitoring.
Qualifications and experience
- University degree or diploma in engineering, supply chain, business administration, or a related field.
- 3 to 4 years of procurement experience in EPC or oil and gas projects in the UAE and international markets.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Excel, email, and ERP systems; SAP is preferred.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Attention to detail, organization, teamwork, self-motivation, and a focus on timely performance and problem resolution.
- Supervisory, inspection, coordination, and reporting skills.
