The role offers the opportunity to develop under the guidance of senior chefs.
Employment type is full-time; work location is in person.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out food preparation tasks, including washing, cutting, weighing, and portioning.
- Assist senior chefs with preparing and plating items to standard recipes.
- Keep the assigned kitchen station clean and organized.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards.
- Manage deliveries and stock using FIFO practices.
- Operate and clean kitchen equipment safely.
- Support the team during busy periods and perform other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Previous kitchen experience is preferred; keen entry-level candidates are welcome.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene.
- Fluency in English is required.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and stand for long periods.
- Willing to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
