Morsel Chocolates is seeking a skilled Chocolate Chef to craft, create, and innovate across its chocolate range.
The role is responsible for preparing, tempering, moulding, and finishing chocolates and confectionery products to high standards of taste and presentation.
Employment and Workplace
- Employment type: Full-Time.
- Work location: In person in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
Production Responsibilities
- Prepare, temper, mould, and finish chocolates, pralines, truffles, and confectionery items.
- Develop new recipes, flavours, fillings, and seasonal products.
- Ensure consistent quality, taste, texture, and presentation.
- Operate and maintain chocolate-making equipment safely.
- Monitor ingredient stock, freshness, and storage conditions.
- Follow recipes and portioning to control food cost and minimize waste.
Quality and Coordination
- Maintain food safety, hygiene, and HACCP compliance.
- Keep production areas, tools, and equipment clean and organized.
- Coordinate with design and sales teams on custom orders and production schedules.
- Support the team during peak periods and special or seasonal orders.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Chocolate Chef, Chocolatier, or in a similar confectionery or pastry role.
- Strong knowledge of chocolate tempering, moulding, and finishing techniques.
- Creativity in flavour development and product presentation.
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards.
- HACCP knowledge is an advantage.
- Fluency in English.
- Attention to detail, consistency, and passion for quality.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays during peak seasons.
