Work as a Commis 1 in Calo Qatar's on-demand QSR kitchen.
Support daily food preparation, cooking, and assembly to meet nutritional and speed standards.
Help maintain production efficiency and ensure orders are accurately prepared and delivered on time.
Working arrangements
- Work is shift-based in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Personal protective equipment is mandatory during production operations.
- Work under senior chefs and chef de parties, and coordinate with kitchen management and production leads.
Main responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and assemble food consistently and efficiently.
- Follow production and service plans to deliver hot meals on time while meeting QSR service pace, quality, and nutritional guidelines.
- Portion food to meet calorie and macronutrient guidelines.
- Store, label, and rotate ingredients correctly, minimize waste, and optimize yields.
- Conduct routine checks and follow HACCP, sanitation, and safety protocols.
Qualifications and experience
- Minimum 3–4 years of experience as a Commis 1 or Commis 2 in QSR or high-volume restaurants.
- Basic health and safety and HACCP knowledge; HACCP certification is preferred.
- Understanding of basic food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
- English communication and teamwork skills.
