Act as the commercial link between Technology, Procurement, and major suppliers to support performance, value, governance, and risk management.
What you'll do
- Manage strategic technology suppliers and serve as their key commercial contact.
- Build relationships with senior Technology and Procurement stakeholders and supplier decision-makers.
- Monitor contractual commitments, SLAs, and service levels; support governance and risk meetings.
- Challenge poor supplier performance or value and identify opportunities for innovation and improved commercial outcomes.
- Support Procurement with contracts, renewals, and evaluations; help shape demand and translate Technology needs into commercial priorities.
- Maintain supplier account plans and improve supplier management, governance, and documentation.
Skills and experience
- Strong experience in commercial contract management, supplier relationship management, or strategic partner management.
- Proven experience managing major or material technology suppliers; understanding of governance, service performance, risk, and commercial value.
- Confidence with senior stakeholders and challenging commercial conversations; good understanding of contracts, SLAs, KPIs, and supplier obligations.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience in a large or complex corporate environment.
- Enterprise technology supplier experience, including Microsoft, Azure, Oracle, or similar, is highly desirable.
- Financial services experience is beneficial but not essential.
- Able to adapt to change and quickly learn an existing supplier portfolio.
