Role Description
The Commercial Manager is a part-time, hybrid role based in Dubai, with a mix of on-site presence and work-from-home flexibility.
This role oversees commercial strategy and revenue generation for The Summit of Future 2026, including sponsorships, partnerships, and ticketing.
Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and negotiating with prospective sponsors, managing commercial contracts, and developing pricing and packaging for event offerings.
The Commercial Manager will coordinate with marketing, operations, and program teams to align commercial goals with overall event objectives.
The role also involves analyzing performance data, forecasting revenue, managing budgets, and maintaining strong relationships with external partners and vendors.
Qualifications
- Strong Commercial Management and Contract Management skills, including experience negotiating agreements, managing stakeholder expectations, and ensuring contractual compliance.
- Proficiency in Business Planning and Analytical Skills to develop revenue models, forecast performance, assess risks, and optimize commercial outcomes.
- Team Management capabilities, with experience guiding cross-functional teams, coordinating with internal departments, and collaborating effectively in fast-paced environments.
- Background in events, entertainment, media, or related industries is highly beneficial, especially with large-scale or multi-stakeholder projects.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills to work with sponsors, partners, vendors, and internal leaders.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and adapt to changing timelines and requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Comfort working in a multicultural, inclusive environment and openness to occasional evening or weekend work around key event milestones.
