Civil Supervisor

Role summary

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily site works and coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, foremen, and other trades.
• Monitor blockwork, plastering, screeding, tiling, waterproofing, gypsum, ceilings, flooring, painting, and other finishing works.
• Check work against approved drawings, method statements, specifications, and project requirements; verify dimensions, levels, alignment, and quality.
• Coordinate MEP sequencing and resolve clashes; monitor subcontractor manpower, materials, tools, and productivity.
• Inspect works, identify defects and incomplete items, and coordinate snagging and rectification.
• Coordinate material deliveries and maintain daily site records, progress reports, inspection requests, and work schedules.
• Assist the site engineer or project manager in tracking progress against the planned schedule.
• Enforce HSE and site safety procedures, housekeeping, and safe working conditions.
• Coordinate inspections with consultants and client representatives; report major technical or construction problems to the site engineer or project manager.
• Ensure completed works meet quality standards before handover.

Requirements

• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of UAE experience in civil construction and interior fit-out works.
• Knowledge of construction methods, finishing works, and site supervision.
• Ability to read construction drawings and specifications.
• Coordination and communication skills; ability to supervise subcontractors and site workers.
• Knowledge of health, safety, and quality requirements; ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Immediate joining preferred.

Employment and pay

• Job type: full-time, permanent.
• Pay: AED 4,000–6,000 per month.
