Cashier for an interior fit-out company, supporting the accounts department and day-to-day financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Handle cash, cheque, and other payment collections; issue receipts and maintain transaction records.
- Manage petty cash for office, site, and project needs; prepare vouchers supported by invoices or receipts.
- Maintain the cash book and record daily cash inflows and outflows.
- Coordinate payments and expenses with site supervisors, project managers, procurement staff, and suppliers.
- Process approved payments for materials, transport, site purchases, and operational expenses.
- Verify invoices, payment requests, and supporting documents before transactions.
- Assist with daily cash reconciliation and monthly financial reporting; monitor balances and report discrepancies.
- File financial documents, ensure transactions are approved and policy-compliant, and perform other assigned finance duties.
Qualifications and requirements
- High school diploma or bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Previous cashier experience; construction, interior fit-out, or contracting experience is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of bookkeeping, petty cash handling, and financial documentation.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and basic accounting software.
- Strong numerical, organizational, and record-keeping skills; honest, trustworthy, and detail-oriented.
- Able to coordinate across departments and handle daily transactions efficiently.
- Good communication skills in English.

- Immediate joining is preferred.
Pay
- AED 3,000–5,000 per month.

- Work is in person.
