Role overview

Project execution and coordination

• Supervise site civil works against approved drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
• Monitor daily activity and project timelines.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, customers, authorities, and internal departments.

Compliance, quality, and maintenance

• Comply with Municipality regulations in Dubai, Sharjah, and Ajman, UAE building codes, and HSE requirements.
• Assist with authority approvals, permits, inspections, and complete documentation submissions.
• Inspect quality, identify defects, implement corrective actions, and ensure materials meet approved standards.
• Identify maintenance needs through periodic CAFM inspections and plan preventive and corrective maintenance.
• Rectify defects and reported CAFM issues promptly.

Contractors, resources, and reporting

• Supervise subcontractors, assess contractor performance, and coordinate material and service procurement.
• Estimate material quantities, maintain adequate local-store stock, monitor use, and minimize waste.
• Allocate manpower and equipment efficiently.
• Conduct safety checks, enforce safe working practices, report hazards, and take corrective action.
• Prepare daily site, weekly progress, inspection, quality, and monthly reports.
• Maintain records of drawings, approvals, work completion, and material usage.

Qualifications and requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 5 years of UAE experience in maintenance, fit-out, or construction.
• Strong knowledge of UAE building regulations and codes.
• Knowledge of authority approval procedures, including Municipality and Civil Defence.
• Strong knowledge of fit-out and refurbishment works.
• Competence in site supervision, authority requirements, quality control, and inspection.
• Coordination, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
